1 Who ships your item for delivery
Items are shipped to your address by the following professional fine art transport companies,
PACK & SEND, Leeds , UK. ( Approved Service Providers Scheme, LAPADA, The Association of Art & Antiques Dealers ) , www.packsend.co.uk
Picture Post Art, International Art Services Ltd, Doncaster, UK. www.picturepost.webnode.com

 

2 How items are packed
Items are professionally handled and packed using bubble wrap for domestic deliveries. For international deliveries items are bubble wrapped and wooden box cratered, both packing procedures are handled by one of the above fine art transport companies.

 

3 Shipment times
All purchases are processed within 2-3 working days of receipt. If we are experiencing a high volume of purchases, shipments may be delayed by afew days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we will contact you via email to inform you. The shipment company delivering your item may also contact you by email or phone to provide further information regarding your delivery.

 

4 Shipment costs
Delivery shipment costs are paid by David Wheeler Paintings. In regards to international deliveries David Wheeler Paintings is not responsible for any extra fees such as customs duties and taxes applied to your purchase. Any other fees imposed during or after the shipping cost are the customers responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and any other costs). 

 

5 Lost items
If your item is lost during transit you will be refunded after confirmation of the loss has been received from the Fine Art Transport Company delivering the item.

1 Where we deliver
We deliver both nationally within the United Kingdom and internationally to countries within the European Union and The United States of America. 
 

2 Deliveries outside the European Union
Items shipped to an address outside the European Union may be subject to import duties and taxes that are collected when the shipment arrives at the delivery address, you will be responsible for payment of such import duties and taxes. David Wheeler Paintings advises you contact your local customs office for further information regarding any such charges.
 

3 Signature upon delivery
Upon the items delivery to the specified address a signature is required by the delivery company from the item purchaser/purchaser representative to confirm proof of delivery.
 

4 Delivery delay
Any delays in delivery will be notified to you by David Wheeler Paintings by email.
 

5 Responsibility of delivery transport
David Wheeler Paintings is responsible if the item is damaged or lost during shipment to you.
 

6 Force Majeure (Unforeseeable Events) 
David Wheeler Paintings is not responsible for any delays in delivery caused by events outside of David Wheeler Paintings control such as terrorist attack, general labour strikes, war situations, earthquake, flooding, lightning strikes, fire, pandemic, technical problems, electric,data,telephone, link failures or other communications/fault/delays in service from subcontractors due to circumstances already stated. These circumstances will constitute grounds for freedom from liability and other sanctions. If these circumstances arise David Wheeler Paintings will inform you at the beginning and end of the period situation. Any event lasting longer than three months will allow you and David Wheeler Paintings to cancel the purchase with immediate effect.
